Senior .Net Full Stack Developer (Israel)

We are seeking a highly skilled and independent Senior Full Stack C# / ASP.NET Developer to join our team in Israel. This position is ideal for a candidate with strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously. You will play a critical role in building, enhancing, and maintaining our data integration pipeline and web applications, while integrating new technologies including AI, Blazor, Web Components and others.

We are looking for a developer who thinks big and strategically, someone who can see the broader picture and contribute ideas that push the envelope. This role is for someone who goes beyond the code, actively proposing innovative solutions and aligning development efforts with business growth.

Key responsibilities:

  • Full Stack Development:
    • Design, develop, and maintain web applications using ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core and .NET 8.
    • Develop robust, scalable, and maintainable backend services and APIs.
    • Design dynamic, responsive, and high-performance frontend user interfaces using JavaScript (jQuery) and other modern frameworks.
  • Cloud and DevOps Integration:
    • Deploy, monitor, and manage applications using Azure services.
    • Develop and maintain virtual machines, web applications, deployments, and infrastructure.
  • Database and Search Integration:
    • Design and optimize databases using SQL Server or equivalent.
    • Integrate and maintain ElasticSearch for search and analytics functionality.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance:
    • Implement unit tests and integration tests to ensure high-quality, reliable code.
    • Drive testing best practices, automation, and maintainability across the application lifecycle.
  • Project Management & Collaboration:
    • Work in Agile environments using tools like JIRA or similar for project tracking and task management.
    • Collaborate effectively with team members including scientists, developers, and business partners.
    • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality features with minimal supervision.
  • Analytics:
    • Implement and integrate tools like Google Analytics, Google Ad Manager, and other behavior analysis technologies.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack ASP.NET Developer.
  • Strong experience with ASP.NET Core, .NET 8 and REST API development.
  • Deep familiarity with Azure services and DevOps tools for CI/CD workflows.
  • Proficiency with JavaScript frameworks like jQuery.
  • Experience with SQL Server or equivalent relational database systems.
  • Experience implementing unit tests and integration tests to ensure code reliability.
  • Excellent communication skills with professional fluency in English (written, spoken, and presentation).
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies using tools like JIRA.
  • Ability to think strategically, propose innovative ideas, and align technical efforts with business objectives.
  • Ability to work independently, self-manage, and deliver projects with minimal supervision.

Software QA Engineer with Biology Background

The GeneCards knowledgebase (www.GeneCards.org) is a popular integrated biomedical database that is used by more than 5 million biomedical researchers from Pharma, academia, and hospitals from all over the world.

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Quality Assurance engineer with at least a bachelor’s degree in molecular biology, cellular biology, bioinformatics or similar background that will join our team.

Requirements:

  • Must have at least 2 years of experience in software quality assurance
  • Must have a bachelors or higher degree in biology or bioinformatics-related field
  • Must have strong English language communication skills – both written and oral
  • Advantage – Experience with JIRA or other bug tracking tools
  • Advantage – Good understanding of Agile methodology
  • Advantage – Experience with test automation tools
